Majuli in Assam is the largest river island and famous for Satras. Satras are places where teachings of Srimant Sankardev are discussed, practised and cultivated. Sri Sri Chamugiri Satra is one of such satras in Majuli but one uniqueness. The satra still maintaining the tradition of making masks which are indispensable part of drama which propagates and educate people of Sanatan dharma and culture through the tsles of Ramayana, Mahabharata, Purana etc. The Art is time taking, pain taking.
